Valentine's Day

"Are you sure you're NOT a tower? because EIFFEL for you!" 

HAHA! It seemed legit to be a total cheeseball every 14th of February, so I started it with bombarding my ever dearest boyfriend with travel pick up lines that I read in Lonely Planet. Valentine's Day is one of my fave Events aside from the Holiday season and my birthday. Probably because I got used to my parent's mandatory "Valentine Dinner Date" when I was a little kid. Our family's Vdates are one of my precious memories of childhood, it reminds me that above all the exciting JS proms, dinner date with boyfriends or single ladies night outs, family dinner should be the priority. After all, (aside from GOD) our families are our FIRST LOVE. Most importantly, these Vdates with my fam were one of the few memories of our complete kin. This year was extra special, extra tiring yet extra FUN! Erickson and I spent the entire day together with his family, mine and with God.

To my one and only love, Thank You for the well spent Valentine's Day! Even if you're tired and sleepless, you dragged your lazy ass to have dinner with me. The flowers were gorgeous, I loved them that It took me an entire afternoon to look at them before taking pictures. Hehe!! I love you and Missing you every sec! The Worst Actor but BEST Boyfriend ever!!

The Number TWO Man in my Life.

I've known this man for nearly 7 years and in that short span of time, I already felt like I've spent half of my life with him. 

Excerpt from an old blog (2007)

"My relationship with Erickson is very ideal; legal and matured... he works 7 days a week, I go to school 4-5 days a week (sometimes 7!) and still, we managed to keep our communications open. We see each other each day, I call him every night, we text each other every hour and it’s very engaging! There even came a point where I was very proud to say that I’m so in love!

He’s more than just my boyfriend, he was my DAD when I’m not on the right track, my BROTHER who always protects me (from monsters daw sbi nya!) my BEST FRIEND who listens to me when I have stories to tell, my NURSE when I’m sick, my NANNY when I eat (spoon feeding is a hobby!) my TUTOR when examination week arrives, my DRINKING BUDDY when I want to chill, my SHOPPING COMPANION when I’m in the mood for shopping, and of course my BOYFRIEND who loved me for who I was, who I ‘am and who I’m going to be. I usually miss him after he hangs up on the phone and after he stepped out of our house’s door, it was just the ideal relationship… He’s one of the best man I've ever met, and he helped me to act and think maturely as the woman that I am today, he always understands, forgives, and trusts me in whatever thing that I do."

Today, I cannot think of anything more to say to him simply because, I've already given him the best wishes and words of appreciation; So, I made this cheap looking but filled with love "Happy Birthday letter" for him. I know, super common and nothing special but it was my way of saying "Hey! I made a lot of effort to do this corny stuff just to show you how much I care!" HAHA!

My dearest Erickson,

You might be wondering why you're 2nd man in my life and not the first? DAD is my number One and I know that you'll never get mad at me for saying that so, CASE CLOSED! LOL!

Message starts here --> I will NOT tell you anymore how much I love you because I have no words for that! I will always be thankful that God gave you to me AND did I ever uttered that you're an answered prayer? If not, then now you know! =) 

Thank You for all the hugs and kisses that I get every morning of every day, for the sodas and juices you bought so that I can eat with pleasure, Thank You for the patience when you were teaching me how to ride a motorcycle and Sorry for always trying to hit you. HAHA!  I know that these are only the few things we've done and shared but rest assured, I always have all of them kept in my heart. 

On a serious note, we both understand that most of the time, fighting is our game... BUT no matter what happens, please do know that I will never quit on us! I may sometimes try to but Trust me, it's all just plain mood swings! lol!

I'm missing you so much right now that I can't hardly ever think of a nicer message aside from Happy birthday! HAHA! I hope one day we'll both get to live our dreams (together) and that may God give us long lives to live as one. I love you Panget, Always and Forever. See you soon!x

The VOW

Finally!! after almost a YEAR, the day has arrived! FEBRUARY 10, 2012 it is!!

The most anticipated romantic film of the year - THE VOW is finally, finally releasing in about a few more hours LATER!! HOORAY!! LOL!

This probably is the only movie that really drove me insane! WHY? FIRST -The trailer was shown a year ago and who could ever resist a movie like this? SECOND- It's a REAL LIFE STORY. Period. THIRD-  THE BOOK was TOO HARD to find here in the Philippines! for the past 8 months I've been hunting down almost all the bookstores in the city and even in Metro Manila and voila! WALA! Up to this day, I'm still in the process of searching, I even emailed some bookstores to find one for me and walang nag reply. haller! I tweeted them tuloy saying that they should have this book on their shelves already coz' surely, it will be a big hit after Feb. 10. HAHA!! I even have a funny story regarding my book-searching!! 

Yesterday, I was at the bookstore to have birth certificates photocopied.. I was paying at the counter when I felt the urge to ask AGAIN for the book. I've been in this bookstore almost every week to look if they already have the bestseller novel.. The saleslady picked up the phone to call someone and asked "Meron ba tayong book na Da-baw" I am so sure about pronouncing the words "THE VOW'" to her; so upon hearng her say "Da-baw", I repeated myself "Miss, THE VOW ha" and she nodded. I waited for at least 5minutes until the phone rang; Ms. Da-baw said "mam, meron na daw po, punta nalang kayo sa may mga magazines". I said thanks and instantly turned my back. As I walk through the magazine shelves, I caught my self smiling and giggling for excitement but deep inside, I had doubts - I already doubted that they found the wrong book. Unfortunately, I was right. The moment I saw the saleslady at the magazine stand; I asked her "Miss, merong THE VOW?" The lady replied " THE VOW ba? akala ko DAVAO" I smiled and she laughed her ass out! HAHA! We had a little chikahan about what happened with Ms.Da-baw (the first saleslady) and before I left, she told me that they will have upcoming stocks of the book a month from now. She asked for my number and name so she can text me whenever the book is available. 

I was so disappointed because after almost a year, I wasn't able to find the book. I thought I will be able to read the story first before the movie but it doesn't seem like it. Anyhow, I'm still excited to watch this movie and I can't wait to make it a part of my favorite tearjerker movies! I will never know na which movie is my number ONE favorite. haha! basta lahat ng Romantic, type ko yan! haha! Teka may FOURTH reason pa pala ako!! It's dramatized by my fave DANCER slash ACTION slash DRAMA slash ROMANTIC ACTOR -- CHANNING TATUM (Step Up, GI Joe and Dear John) Dami talagang slash kasi ganyan sya ka versatile, lahat ng roles kaya! RACHEL McADAMS (The Notebook and The Time Traveler's Wife) also stars in this movie, she plays the role of  Paige - a wife to Leo (Tatum) who suffered with severe memory loss after a car accident with his husband. Channing and Rachel were one of my most watched celebrities because  I really appreciate their acting in their individual films and I must say, they're now one of Hollywood's Screen Gems.

Since I celebrated my birthday with my friends, my bf and I never got the chance to have a dinner date which we've been planning for weeks. I have been craving for a quiet and nice dinner for my birthday so I took Erickson to Pablos with me when we got home from vacation. It was a windy and cold night so my smile was seen up to my ears coz the ambiance and mood was really something that I really wanted. 

We had dinner and unbelievably -- I wasn't able to finish my food! We both felt like staying so we ordered bottles of beer for both of us and just watched our vacation Video while sipping from our own glasses.

While watching the vid on FB, I saw a news about Board Exams result that drove me crazy!! I instantly called Charles to congratulate him coz I read his recent Twitter post saying "I survived, jusmio" thinking that he already passed the board exam. Unfortunately, it was a mistake, he was talking bout a job interview yata and the news that I saw was a false alarm. HAHA!! Erickson was playng with the cam so he took this shots of me while laughing at my STUPID-NESS. LOL!

Im not the subject here but here's me laughing at my own mistakes! LOL!

After a bottle, I felt the urge to pee..I forgot how far the c.r was kasi u have to go pa inside the hotel and since hindi ko na kaya, I gave in. LOL!

When i came back, the waiters were looking at me and smiling... I sat down on my chair and noticed a saucer in front of me with something delicious and bright. LOL!

Chenen!! the birthday cake that didn't make it 3 days ago. HAHA! I have a loong story about my bday cakes!!
This actually is my 4th and last cake for my 23rd. Thank You Panget!! I know how this cake pressured you! LOL!

It was definitely what I've been wanting for my birthday. Sabi nila kapag daw quiet place na ang hanap, tumatanda na. I won't argue with them, I really felt so old na . HAHA! I used to think that being 23 is the time to be an independent adult. And so, I am planning to do that this year. So Help me, God. =)
